This was stated to Idman.biz by Greco-Roman wrestler Abdurrahman Huseynli (45 kg).
He spoke about his performance at the U-17 European Championship in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. The wrestler said that he was very happy to win a gold medal: "I became a champion by defeating my opponents without any difficulty. I had a lot of confidence in myself because I had a good preparation with the national team. I dedicate this victory to my family, my parents. I would like to thank my coaches Turac Huseynli, Taleh Mammadov, as well as the coaches of the national team, headed by Taleh Israfilov. My next goal is to prepare better for the upcoming world championship and win."
It should be noted that Abdurrahman Huseynli faced Saba Abashidze (Georgia) in the final of the European Championship. Our wrestler won with a score of 9:0 and won a gold medal.
