Zahra Salmanli defeats Kenyan opponent at World Championships

14-year-old Azerbaijani para-badminton player Zahra Salmanli (SH-6 category) made a successful debut in the group stage of the World Championships.

Idman.Biz reports that Salmanli won 2:0 against her Kenyan opponent, Corrine Mwangi.

It should be noted that Salmanli is a silver medalist of the European Championship in doubles.

The World Para-Badminton Championship is being held in Manama, the capital of Bahrain.
