"Victory Run" held in Baku on the occasion of Victory Day

Another charity event called "Victory Run" dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Azerbaijan's magnificent Victory in the Patriotic War was organized in Baku.

According to "Report", the run was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and took place under the slogan "Forward with Pride".

Before the start, the National Anthem was played, and the dear memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Patriotic War was commemorated with a minute of silence.

The participants of the "Victory Run" started from the Seaside National Park, near the "Seven Beauties" fountain. The run covered a distance of 10 km.

Bakhtiyar Asgarli became the first in the men's category in the run, in which more than 1,700 participants were registered. Faqet Guliyev finished the race second, and Elshad Nasibov finished third. Among women, Anna Yusupova, Natalya Vallek and Yuliya Belkova took the top three places.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov participated in the "Victory Run".

The winners were awarded by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, National Hero, Colonel-General Madat Guliyev, Olympic champion, chairman of the "Sports Veterans" Public Union Zemfira Meftakhetdinova, General Director of Baku City Circuit (BCC) Operating Company Maqsud Farzullayev and others.

Also, an entertainment zone was organized in the Seaside National Park for two days. The running event continued with an entertaining concert program.

The funds collected during registration will be donated to the "YASHAT" Foundation.

It should be noted that the "Victory Run" has been held annually since 2021.
