A charity event called "Victory Run" dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the magnificent Victory of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic War will be held in Baku on November 2.
Idman.Biz reports that the traditional event will be held under the slogan "Forward with Pride" as every year with the organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The purpose of the action is to respectfully commemorate Azerbaijan's historical victory, and to emphasize once again the unity, heroism and unwavering will of our people.
A minimum charitable fee of 20 manats has been set for participants during registration. The collected funds will be donated to the "YAŞAT" Foundation.
The participants of the "Victory Run" will start from the Seaside National Park, near the "Seven Beauties" fountain. The run will cover a distance of 10 km, and the first participants to reach the finish line will be declared winners and awarded.
In addition, a fan zone will also be open on November 1–2. Here, visitors will find various entertainments and a festive atmosphere.
The run will start on November 2 at 10:00. People over the age of 16 who want to participate can register via the link events.smartscoring.com/marathon until 12:00 on October 30. Since places are limited, registration will be automatically closed when the limit is reached.
Registered participants will receive a confirmation letter and a participant's guide by e-mail. They will be able to obtain a participant number from the 1st floor of the BEGOC Business Center from October 15 to 30, from 09:00 to 20:00, by presenting an identity card and payment confirmation.
It should be noted that the "Victory Run" has been held annually since 2021.
