An unusual 10-kilometer race was organized in the metro tunnels of Bilbao, Spain.
Idman.Biz reports that more than 200 athletes participated in the race, and they were taken to the starting point by a special train after the subway closed.
Participants could choose one of two routes: 7.8 km (eight stations) or 10.2 km (12 stations). The height difference along the route was 80 meters, and there was even a section that passed under the river.
During the race, each group was accompanied by two guides - a metro employee and an organizer.
