The Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation (ACRF) will hold an event at the federation's building on November 9.
Idman.Biz reports that the event will celebrate the anniversary of the memorandum signed last year with China's largest water sports organization "Deep Dive" within the framework of the "Paddle in clean water" campaign held in Baku on the eve of COP29.
"Deep Dive" manages 22 water sports centers in 13 cities in China. The aim of the cooperation is to promote rowing sports in Azerbaijan and China, and to promote a healthy lifestyle and the protection of clean water basins.
In addition, representatives of the Global Canal Rowing Federation will leave Baku for Brazil in connection with the COP30 event, and the continuation of the action will take place there.
The event will also present the results achieved by Azerbaijani rowers in local and international competitions in 2025. After the press conference, the Baku and Mingachevir teams will perform exemplary performances on the Caspian Sea.
