"Shafa" increased ticket prices, "Shahdag Gusar" fans expressed their dissatisfaction

The host team's increase in ticket prices before the "Shafa" - "Shahdag Gusar" match, which will determine the fate of the championship in the second league, has caused dissatisfaction among the opposing side.

Gusar fans who contacted QOL.az reported that the ticket price for the guest team is 10 manats, and they protested against this decision of the "Shafa" management.

It should be noted that even in the matches of the Misli Premier League, the cheapest ticket price is cheaper than the price set by "Shafa": from 2 manats to 5 manats.

The qafqazinfo.az website wrote about the issue that many Gusar fans wanted to travel by bus to support their team. However, "Shafa", which is fighting for the championship, raised ticket prices artificially, thinking that the opponent would gain an advantage with the support of the fans.

It is interesting that "Shafa" made tickets free for its own fans. 10 manat tickets are only for guest team fans.

"Shafa" President Sardar Salamzade commented on the issue as follows: "In the first round, the "Shahdag Gusar" club stated that our fans would only be allowed into the stadium after obtaining a ticket. In turn, when we asked why tickets were required for our fans in particular and there were no tickets in other games, they said that was the decision. Then they raised the ticket price twice. We didn't make a problem, we bought 200 tickets and went to the game.

We, in turn, announced that admission to the game with "Shahdag Gusar" would be by ticket. We will get tickets and invitations for our own fans ourselves. We would not say that our step is a response to them, but this is the general decision. And I think that after we enter the Premier League, fans will come to the games of "Shafa", "Qarabağ", "Neftçi", etc. by buying tickets. As a club, we are also working in this direction."

It should be noted that the 23rd round "Shafa" - "Shahdag Gusar" match will be held on May 4. Currently, "Shahdag Gusar" is in 1st place with 64 points from 22 games, and "Shafa" is in 2nd place with 61 points.
