Talented Russian figure skater Veronika Zhilina has traveled to Azerbaijan.
İdman.biz reports that she arrived in Baku with Yana Rudkovskaya at the invitation of famous businessman Emin Agalarov.
Agalarov announced on social media that they will build a magnificent ice arena within the Sea Breeze project with producer Yana Rudkovskaya. The arena will reportedly have a portable structure. It is expected that the arena will host the "Angels of Plushchenko" ice show by two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko in the future.
In addition, Veronika thanked Emin Agalarov for the invitation to Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that there have been reports that Zhilina will represent the Azerbaijani national team from the next season. However, today the head of the Russian Figure Skating Federation, Anton Sikharulidze, stated after a meeting of the organization's executive committee that Zhilina's transfer to the Azerbaijani team would not be approved.
