On June 18-19, a delegation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey was on a visit to Azerbaijan.
İdman.biz reports that the 3rd meeting of the Working Group on cooperation in the fields of youth and sports between Azerbaijan and Turkey was held at ADA University on the first day of the visit.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Youth and Sports of both countries, including deputy ministers, and heads of relevant structural units.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on youth and sports policy, non-formal education, exchange programs, as well as joint projects and activities. Both sides discussed the implementation status of the agreements reached at previous meetings and identified future activities. At the meeting, Turkish and Azerbaijani representatives made presentations and put forward new proposals for cooperation.
On June 19, a meeting was held between the Deputy Ministers of the two countries, Farhad Hajiyev and Enes Eminoglu. The importance of further deepening cooperation was emphasized at the meeting, and an agreement was reached to hold the next meeting in Turkey. At the end of the event, a protocol was signed envisaging the implementation of various projects in the fields of youth and sports between our countries in the next year.
Within the framework of the visit, the Turkish delegation got acquainted with the historical places of Baku and participated in a number of events.
