The victory of the Azerbaijani national team is a big step for the development of international chovgan games.

According to a staff member of "Report" dispatched to Shaki, the head coach of the Azerbaijani chovgan team, Namig Orujov, said in a statement to journalists.

He assessed the team's performance:

"This is the first time we have participated in the CIS Games. The competition was held at a very high level. I express my gratitude to the organizers. This achievement is a very high result for Azerbaijani horse breeding. It is a big step for the development of international chovgan games."

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani chovgan national team defeated Uzbekistan in the final match of the III CIS Games and won gold medals.
