Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani national karateka Irina Zaretska (68 kg) said this to the World Karate Federation channel on the eve of the Premier League start in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
The three-time world champion, who returned to the tatami after maternity leave, is full of strength and energy to demonstrate her skills once again: "I trained for a long time to get in shape, to show that I am still in this sport and have not left it. I live by the principle of 'Karate is my life'. Life changes, I am now the mother of a beautiful baby, but karate is still a part of me. I am happy to feel the excitement of competition again."
