A new head coach has been appointed for the Belgian national team.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that it is Rudi Garcia, who previously managed "Napoli", "Al-Nassr", "Lyon", "Marseille", "Roma" and "Lille".
It is worth recalling that Belgium was previously led by Domenico Tedesco, the former coach of Moscow "Spartak". Under his leadership, the team reached the 1/8 finals of the 2024 European Championship and took third place in the Nations League group. In the last eight matches, the Belgians have won only once.
It should be noted that Rudi Garcia has been unemployed since the summer of 2023, when he left "Napoli". Belgium is currently third in the UEFA Nations League group with four points from six games.
