Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the Interregional Africa Ministerial Meeting held in Banjul, the capital of Gambia, as the Vice-President of the next Bureau of the 9th Conference of Parties (COP9) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport.

"Report" from the press service of the Ministry, F. Gayibov also spoke at the relevant high-level panel and spoke about the importance of sports governance and state support in strengthening interregional cooperation.
The participants of the event were received by the President of Gambia, Adama Barrow. The Minister also held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Gambia, Bakar Bodji. During the meeting, issues of cooperation within the framework of the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries in the field of youth and sports were discussed.
