Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David Beckham, the former midfielder of Manchester United and the England national team, has harshly criticized his parents on social media against the backdrop of a long-standing dispute with them. Sport24.az reports that David and Victoria's 26-year-old eldest son has issued a statement refusing to reconcile with his family and stating that he is defending his rights for the first time in his life:
"I have been silent for years and have done my best to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and those around them continue to publicize it in the press. For this reason, I have no choice but to tell the truth about myself. I refuse to reconcile with my family. I am free and for the first time in my life I am fighting for my rights. Ostentatious posts on social media, family events and insincere relationships have been an integral part of the life I was born into."
He also criticized his father, emphasizing that he came to Great Britain to celebrate David's 50th birthday. However, he was told that he could attend the event only if his wife, Nicola Peltz, did not attend.
It should be noted that it was reported some time ago that Brooklyn had blocked his parents on social media. Because his parents' relationship with his wife has become a matter of public discussion. Beckham Jr. also called on his parents to communicate with him only through lawyers.
