A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Azerbaijan Capoeira Federation and the Turkish Capoeira Youth and Sports Association.
Idman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that the document was approved on September 6 in Samsun by the Vice-President of the Federation, Elgiz Alizade, and the President of the Association, Güngör Doğanay.
The purpose of the memorandum is to develop capoeira and strengthen cultural and sports ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey. Areas of cooperation include Batizado and belt exams, joint competitions, cultural events, coach and athlete exchanges, and projects for children and youth.
This step will serve to further spread capoeira in both countries and strengthen friendly relations.
