Although the home team managed to take the match to extra time and even make the score 3:0 in the 100th minute, the Norwegians showed Viking-like determination. Bodo made the match a penalty shootout thanks to Andreas Helmersen's goal in the 109th minute to make the score 3:1. They were superior in the series - 3:2.
