A significant event has taken place for Azerbaijani triathlon.
Idman.biz reports that Balakheydar Karimov, coach of our national team and an experienced judge, has for the first time ensured justice in a World Triathlon competition.
He gained his first experience in the international arena by judging at the European Youth Cup held in Izvorani, Romania on August 9-10.
Karimov stated that he will try to continue this work in the future: "This competition was a great experience for me. In the future, I will try to represent our country more worthily in international triathlon competitions."
The Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation assessed Balakheydar Karimov's debut as an international judge as an important step for the development of national triathlon and announced its belief that his future activities will bring even greater success.
It should be noted that Karimov is the head coach of the Azerbaijani national youth triathlon team. The specialist, who has extensive experience in the field of judging, has acted as the chief judge in many local and international competitions held in our country, including the "IronWind" international triathlon competition.
