The governing bodies of the World Capoeira Federation (WCF) for the next term have been formed within the framework of the international conference on Capoeira.
Idman.Biz reports that candidates representing countries and continents such as the USA, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Finland, Estonia, Peru, Benin and Hong Kong participated in the elections.
According to the results of the voting, representatives of the Azerbaijan Capoeira Federation were elected to important positions in the WCF. Thus, Jamil Huseynov was elected as the First Vice-President of the World Capoeira Federation, and Elgiz Alizade was elected as the Secretary General and a member of the Board of Directors.
According to the results of the elections, Rodrigo Furbino Gomes from the USA was elected as the President of the World Capoeira Federation (WCF). The new President will lead the federation's activities for the next term and will play a key role in the implementation of the WCF's international development strategy.
