Viktoriya Sidorenko, a member of the Azerbaijani national team in Trek cycling, evaluated her performance at the "Silk Way Series Astana" international tournament held in Kazakhstan.
In an interview with "Report", she stated that her opponents were tough in the competition.
The cyclist said that she tried to fight decently:
"I participated in the 'Silk Way Series Astana' international track tournament, which was held earlier in Uzbekistan and most recently in Kazakhstan. I won bronze medals in sprint competitions in both Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Despite the strength of my opponents, I tried to fight decently. In addition, I participated in both group and omnium races. My teammates were also able to win medals. I would like to express my gratitude to the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. I hope that we will show better results and return with victories in the next competitions."
It should be noted that V. Sidorenko won a bronze medal in the 200-meter sprint race at the UCI 2nd category competition. With this result, she also added 80 rating points to her score.
