The Ministry of Youth and Sports has presented the ranking table of Azerbaijani athletes.
"Report" reports that the press service of the institution has released information about this.
It was reported that new evaluation criteria in the list, which took into account the results of athletes from January 1 to June 30, helped to make the ranking even more perfect.
Judoka Zelim Tckaev is in the first place with 330 points. Olympic champion Zelim Kotsoev (320 points) is second, and another judoka Eljan Hajiyev (230 points) is third.
The next places are occupied by judokas Rashid Mammadaliyev (210 points), Ushangi Kokauri (190 points), artistic gymnast Nikita Simonov (165 points), Greco-Roman wrestler Gurban Gurbanov (160 points), freestyle wrestler Giorgi Meshvildishvili, Greco-Roman wrestlers Hasrat Jafarov and Nihat Mammadli (all 150 points).
Olympic champion Hidayat Heydarov, who was out of the "top 10" this time, was second in the ranking announced at the beginning of the year .
