"Our team seriously prepared for this competition two years in advance."
These words were said by Azer Maharramov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, in an interview with Idman.Biz.
He stated that the national team went to the World Championship fully prepared in advance and achieved successful results:
"We already have several medals and I believe there will be more. I myself have been a European and world champion, and now our goal is to bring this success back to Azerbaijan. I am currently in the final, and God willing, we will win one or two medals."
Maharramov emphasized in the end that the main goal set by the federation is for Azerbaijani athletes to achieve more success in the international arena.
