An avalanche in a mountainous region of Kazakhstan has killed one climber and left two others missing. According to initial reports, a group of climbers was hit by the avalanche.
İdman.Biz, citing the "Shot" "Telegram" channel, reports that a group of three climbers set out on an expedition to the Tian Shan peak in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan on December 24th. Communication with them was completely lost on the night of December 26th. After that, relatives of the climbers contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
During search and rescue operations, the body of one tourist was found at an altitude of 3,700 meters and has already been brought down. The search for the other two climbers continues. It is highly likely that they also died as a result of the avalanche.
