An attempt to bring handball to the agenda and the disrespectful attitude of the Federation's press service

One of the main goals of our resource is to promote Azerbaijani sports, including its individual types. We want to emphasize this at the beginning of the article so that the purpose and essence of our topic are clear.

So, today, one of the employees of Idman.Biz contacted the press service of the Azerbaijan Handball Federation to obtain contact information of handball specialists. The goal was quite clear - to get an interview about the state of handball in our country and to bring this sport to the agenda.

The thing is, talking about Azerbaijani handball seemed important to us today. This sport has brought our country many champions for years. Azerbaijani handball has long been known for its high results. We have successes, traditions, and even Olympic champions. But despite all this, handball is not one of the most popular sports in our country today.

We just wanted to prepare an article to change this situation at least a little, to increase attention to this sport. However, this attempt was met with the clearly inadequate and rude behavior of the head of the press service of the Azerbaijan Handball Federation.

The reason was our employee's statement that "handball is not given enough space in the Azerbaijani press." This simple observation did not please the federation representative.

The federation employee did not just disagree with the opinion (which would be quite normal), he behaved rudely, raised his voice and disrespected the media representative, and, as if all this was not enough, he discriminated against age.

We consider this behavior inappropriate not only for a federation employee, but also for an Azerbaijani man in general. Also, the main task of the head of the press service is to cooperate with the media, not to disrupt this relationship.

We recommend that the leadership of the Azerbaijan Handball Federation pay attention to the work of the press service employees. Because such behavior casts a shadow on the activities of the federation, as well as on the development of handball in our country.
