"The Azerbaijani airbadminton team has great potential."

He assessed the results of his team at the European Airbadminton Championship held in Azerbaijan: "The competition was held at a high level. Unfortunately, we lost to Germany in the final. We won a silver medal for the first time. It was an honor for us to wave the Azerbaijani flag. We showed that we have high potential. Airbadminton is a different competition. Those who don't have a chance to get into the badminton team come to airbadminton. This is an opportunity for them. It's kind of like football. Like players who didn't get a chance in big football and switched to futsal. I think Azerbaijan can also win a medal at the World Championship."
He emphasized that the organization in Azerbaijan was highly appreciated: "The World Badminton Federation thanked me as a coach. They said that I have trained high-level athletes. Two years ago, 5 teams participated in this competition and we were fourth. This time, new and more professional teams were added. This competition was held on five continents. Azerbaijan was highly appreciated."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team took second place, losing to Germany in the final match of the European Airbadminton Championship held at the European Games Park.
