Adilkhan Hasenov: "Azerbaijan is the main favorite of the III CIS Games in chovgan"

Azerbaijan is the favorite in the chovgan competitions at the III CIS Games.

According to the employee of "Report", who was seconded to Shaki, this was stated by Adilkhan Hasenov, a member of the Kazakhstan national chovgan team, after the match with Turkey.

He sees Azerbaijan as the champion:

"We see Azerbaijan as the main favorite of the chovgan games. I think they will be the champion. Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are also strong teams."

The expert also spoke about the match with Turkey:

"The game was very difficult. Turkey played great and resisted us. Although the score was 3:0, we won with difficulty. Plus, the weather conditions were not so good. I am glad that everything went well, no one was injured, neither people nor horses."

The athlete said that everything was good in terms of organization:

"Everything is great in terms of organization and we like it. This is the first time we have seen such a place. We have been to Baku before. We also liked Baku. Here it has its own atmosphere, nature, mountains. Organizing the championship here was a great idea."

It should be noted that the Kazakhstan team defeated Turkey 3:0 in today's match and advanced to the semi-finals. The chovgan competitions will end on October 7.
