Today, another Azerbaijani judoka will join the competition in the individual competition of the World Championship held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
"Report" informs that Olympic champion Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) will step onto the tatami.
He will face the winner of the match between Jared Kosse (USA) and Gennaro Pirelli (Italy) in the 1/16 finals.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented in the World Championship by 13 judokas (9 men, 4 women) in 10 weight categories in individual competitions. Our national team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
Our judokas Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) and Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) won bronze medals.
