Azerbaijani national judoka Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) evaluated his first competition after the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games.

The Olympic champion stated that his main goal is to increase the number of medals: "I won my fifth medal at the European Championship. I'm still in the game and hungry for new victories."
It should be noted that Kotsoyev wrestled with Georgian Ilya Sulamanidze, whom he defeated at Paris-2024, in the final of the European Championship. Zelim lost with a yuko technique and won the silver medal of the European Championship.
