Young judokas will win more medals in the next competitions

Young judokas of Azerbaijan will win more medals in the next competitions.

Emin Iskandarov, the head coach of the national team of young boys, told "Report""Report"'s employee sent to Ganja about this.

The expert shared his views on the European Cup held in the city:

"The judokas were well prepared for this competition. There was also a good training camp during the tournament in Berlin, Germany. There was a week between competitions. Since the European Cup is held in our country, they must wrestle. There is a little fatigue. This is our first selection competition. There will be three more such tournaments after this. I think the number of awards will increase in the next competitions."

E. Iskandarov also spoke about Rza Khalil (55 kg), who won a gold medal at the European Cup:

"We had great expectations from him. He had good preparation in training camps. Ibrahim Talibov, whom he defeated in the final, was not inferior to him either. Rza was able to show himself on the good side."

The head coach added that they will win medals on the second day of the competition:

"We have candidate judokas. If there are no such technical errors, our athletes will qualify for the final. The national team will be formed from these competitions. We will conduct analyzes. Some of the judokas who distinguished themselves here will compete in the European Cup in Berlin, others in Tbilisi."

Let us remind that on the first day of the tournament organized in Ganja Sports Palace, Azerbaijani judokas won 13 medals. The European Cup will end today.
