Young judokas from Azerbaijan will participate in the World Championships in Lima, the capital of Peru.
"Report" informs that the team will be represented by 8 athletes (6 boys, 2 girls) in 5 weight categories in total at the prestigious competition.
Our judokas will be led by Rustam Alimli, head coach of the youth boys' team, coach Elkhan Rajabli, Amina Abdellatif, head coach of the youth girls' team, and senior coach Sasha Herkenrat-Vimar.
Among the boys, Nihad Mamishov, Farid Garayev (both 60 kg), Mahammad Musayev, Nizami Imranov (both 66 kg), Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg) and Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg) will compete for victory.
In the girls' competition, Khadija Gadashova and Aydan Valiyeva (both 52 kg) will try to take a place on the podium.
It should be noted that 454 athletes (242 boys, 212 girls) from 66 countries will compete in the World Championships, which will be held from October 5 to 8.
