On October 28, the Azerbaijan Judo Federation held a "City Tour" with a specially branded bus along the main streets and avenues of the capital in connection with World Judo Day.
According to Idman.Biz, the small judokas who participated in the tour met with residents in various places of the city, congratulated them on Judo Day, and took commemorative photos.
The project served to increase the popularity of this sport in the country by conveying the values of judo - respect, courage and friendship - to a wider audience.
It should be noted that October 28 is also the birthday of Jigoro Kano, the founder of judo.
