Our judoka, who competed in the 70 kg weight category, defeated Briton Simone Strong with an ippon in the final.
It should be noted that earlier Movlud Miraliyev (M5, -100 kg) won gold, Farhad Rajabli (M8, -90 kg) silver, Gurban Mammadli (M2, +100 kg), Vugar Babayev (M3, -66 kg), Zaur Bagirov (M4, +100 kg) and Azer Asgarov (M6, (-100 kg) won bronze medals.
