The World Judo Championship continues in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Idman.biz reports that another athlete of the Azerbaijani national team joined the competition on the sixth day of the competition.

Zelim Kotsoiev (100 kg), who was exempt from the first stage, defeated Gennaro Pirelli (Italy) in the 1/16 finals, followed by Marat Baykamurov (Kazakhstan). Our Olympic champion wrestled Arman Adamyan (IJF) in the 1/4 finals. Since the opponent passed the stage, Kotsoiev participated in the consolation match. Zelim, who defeated Nikolos Sherazadishvili (Spain), will test his strength against Seh-Yeon Kim (South Korea) for the bronze medal.
It should be noted that Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) and Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) have already won bronze medals in the World Championship as part of our national team.
