Two more Azerbaijani judokas will join the competition today in the individual tournament of the World Championship held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
"Report" informs that Vugar Talibov and Eljan Hajiyev (both 90 kg) will compete on the tatami.
V. Talibov will face Georgian Luka Maysuradze in the 1/32 finals.
E. Hajiyev will join the competition from the 1/16 finals. His opponent will be determined in the match between Nurbek Murtuzoev (Uzbekistan) and Remi Feullet (Mauritius), which will take place in the 1/32 finals.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented at the World Championship by 13 judokas (9 men, 4 women) in 10 weight categories in individual competitions. Our national team will also compete in the mixed team competition. One of our judokas, Zelim Tckaev, won a bronze medal.
