The World Judo Championship continues in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that 2 more athletes of the Azerbaijani national team competed on the tatami on the last day of the individual competitions at the World Cup. Both of them finished the competition without medals.

Girls
70 kg
Masuma Mammadli faced Vanessa Karaffova (Czech Republic) in the 1/16 final and lost.
Boys
+90 kg
Subhan Akhundov lost to Kaito Tokita (Japan) in the 1/8 final.
Thus, the Azerbaijani national team finished the individual competitions with 2 bronze medals. Anar Guliyev (50 kg) and Zayd Alasgarov (60 kg) won bronze medals in our team.
It should be noted that a mixed team competition will take place on August 31.
