Today, two more judokas from Azerbaijan will join the competition at the World Championships among adults, which is being held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
"Report" informs that Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (52 kg) and Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg) will take to the tatami on the second day of the competition.
In the 1/32 finals, Pashayev will try to break the resistance of Ronald Lima (Brazil). Mammadaliyeva will face Sofia Asvesta (Cyprus) in the same round.
Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg), Leyla Aliyeva and Konul Aliyeva (both 48 kg), who started the competition yesterday, finished the competition without awards.
It should be noted that 13 judokas (9 men, 4 women) will represent Azerbaijan in 10 weight categories in individual competitions at the World Cup. Our team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
