The second round of the League competition organized among judokas under 14 years old in Baku has come to an end. The tournament is of great importance in terms of the formation of the future ranking table of young athletes.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Judo Federation that a total of 529 athletes from 89 clubs and sports societies of the country tested their strength in the tournament held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex. 437 of them are boys and 92 are girls.
On the last day of the competition, the names of the medalists in nine more weight categories became clear.
It should be noted that it is planned to hold a total of three rounds of the U-14 League competition during the current year, which is the main platform for athletes to gain experience and increase their ranking points.
