The national sambo cup among juniors, youth and adults, dedicated to the memory of Honored Coach Abulfaz Aliyev, was held.
İdman.biz reports that a total of 317 athletes participated in the competition held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
During the three-day competition, 132 sambo wrestlers competed in the junior category, 90 in the youth category, and 95 in the adult category. In total, 22 sets of medals found their owners.
