The winners of the first day of the Azerbaijan Judo Championship among women and men have been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that 107 judokas competed in 7 weight categories at the competition held at the Baku Sports Palace.
On the first day, Nilgun Rzayeva (63 kg), Sudaba Agayeva (70 kg), Gunel Hasanli (78 kg), Madina Kaisinova (+78 kg), Balabay Agayev (60 kg), Nazir Talibov (66 kg) and Kamran Suleymanov (73 kg) rose to the highest step of the podium.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Championship will end on December 7.

It was reported that a total of 107 judokas will compete for medals in 7 weight categories among women and men on the first day of the competition.
Winners will be determined in the 63 kg, 70 kg, 78 kg and +78 kg weight categories for women, and in the 60 kg, 66 kg and 73 kg weight categories for men.
Admission to the arena is free to watch the competition.
Classification meetings will start at 10:00 and the final block will start at 17:00.
It should be noted that the national championship will be broadcast live on the "CBC Sport" TV channel and the official "YouTube" channel of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
