The first round of the U-17 Judo League competition among teenagers continues at the Absheron Olympic Complex. On the second day of the tournament, held on April 16, winners were determined in five more weight categories.
Idman.Biz reports that 200 judokas took to the tatami on the second day of the competition. In a tense struggle, girls competed in the 44 kg, 57 kg and +70 kg weight categories, and boys in the 55 kg and 73 kg weight categories.

It should be noted that 799 athletes from about 100 clubs and sports societies participate in the first round, which started on April 15. These three-day competitions will play an important role in the formation of the rating table of young judokas. It is planned to hold two more rounds of the League competition this year.
