The reason for the Olympic champion Hidayat Heydarov's exclusion from the European Championship squad has been revealed.
According to information provided to Idman.biz from the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, the four-time world and European champion has caught a cold.
It was stated that the judoka has no injuries and will not participate in the competition due to his illness. Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg) will replace Heydarov at the European Championship.
It should be noted that the European Judo Championship will be held in Montenegro from April 23-27. 15 judokas (9 men, 6 women) will represent our country at the tournament.
