The names of the Azerbaijani judokas who will participate in the Universiade have been announced.
İdman.biz reports that our team will be represented by 13 athletes at the judo competition, which will be held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany on July 23-26.
The coaching staff will give a chance to Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg), bronze medalist of the World Judo Championship at the Universiade, Babarahim Mirzayev (60 kg), Nazir Talibov (66 kg), Nariman Mirzayev (73 kg), Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg), Shamil Tuncay (100 kg), Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg), Konul Aliyeva (48 kg), Aydan Veliyeva (52 kg), Fidan Alizadeh (57 kg), Aytaj Gardashkhanli (70 kg), Narmin Amirli (78 kg) and Nigar Suleymanova (+78 kg).
It should be noted that the Universiade, which will start on July 16, will last until the 27th.
