The regional championships for the Northern region among U-14 and U-17 youth will be held on September 12–13.
İdman.biz reports that judokas from Gusar, Guba, Khachmaz, Shabran and Siyazan will compete in the tournaments.
The purpose of the competition is to form a base of young judokas and to determine the athletes who will participate in the national championship based on quotas. Also, the U-17 championships will provide important ranking points for selection to the national team.
The competitions will be held at the Khachmaz Olympic Sports Complex.
