The second round of the U-17 youth judo tournament "Talent Selection" will be held on March 7-8.
"Report" reports that 351 athletes (297 boys, 54 girls) from 67 clubs and sports societies will compete for medals in 16 weight categories in the tournament to be held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
The purpose of the "Talent Selection" tournament is to form a healthy base for the national team, to identify promising athletes for the national team and to form a stable reserve base.
It should be noted that athletes who are in the top 4 in each weight category in the final ranking of 2 rounds will be involved in the "Hopes of the Future" training program.
