The composition of the Azerbaijani U-20 national judo team, which will participate in the World Junior Judo Championships to be held in Lima, the capital of Peru, on October 5–7, has been determined.
Idman.biz reports that our athletes will participate in the competition under the leadership of Rustam Alimli (boys) and Amina Abdellatif (girls).
Azerbaijan will be represented at the championship by 8 judokas - Nihad Mamishov, Farid Garayev (60 kg), Magomed Musayev, Nizami Imranov (66 kg), Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg), Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg), Aydan Valiyeva, Khadija Gadashova (both 52 kg).
It should be noted that approximately 500 judokas from nearly 70 countries will compete in the World Championship.
