The 31st Republican Kung Fu Championship among youth, adolescents, and adults was held at the "Border Guard Sports Center" organized by the Azerbaijan Chinese Martial Arts Association and the Azerbaijan Kung Fu Federation. Sport24.az reports that the championship was a licensing event for participation in international competitions.
More than 300 athletes competed for medals in the competition. The winners will test their strength at the European and world championships to be held in France and Italy next year.
