The 2nd round of the "Talent Selection" judo competition among U-16 adolescents will be held from March 14 to 15.
"Report" informs that 358 judokas (297 boys, 61 girls) from 71 clubs and sports societies will compete in 16 weight categories at the tournament to be held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
The purpose of the competition is to form a healthy base for the national team, to identify promising athletes as candidates for the national team, and to create a sustainable reserve base.
It should be noted that athletes who are in the top 4 in each weight category in the final ranking of the 2nd round will be involved in the "Hopes of the Future" training program.
