The 2nd round of the "Talent Selection" competition among U-17 junior judoists will be held on March 7–8.
351 athletes (297 boys, 54 girls) from 67 clubs and sports societies will compete for medals in a total of 16 weight categories in the tournament.
The purpose of holding the "Talent Selection" tournament is to form a solid base for the national team, identify promising athletes as candidates for the national team, and form a sustainable reserve base.
It should be noted that athletes who are in the top 4 in each weight category in the final ranking of the 2nd round will be involved in the "Hopes of the Future" training program.
