Azerbaijani judokas will face each other in the final of the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

Team members will clarify relations for the gold medal.
Nizami Imranov and Turan Bayramov (both 66 kg), Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) and Leyla Aliyeva (52 kg) stopped fighting in the tournament. Shafag Hamidova (48 kg) will test her strength in the consolation match.

It was reported that seven of our athletes will enter the tatami on the first day of the competition.
In the 60 kg weight category, Ahmad Yusifov will fight Samariddin Kuchkarov (Uzbekistan) in the 1/16 final, and Balabay Agayev will fight his compatriot Bakhrom Boturov.
In the 66 kg, Nizami Imranov will clarify relations with Minhao Zhang (China) in this round, and Turan Bayramov with Matan Kokolayev (Israel).
In the 48 kg weight category, Konul Aliyeva will try to break the resistance of Uzbek Sevinch Muradova in the 1/16 final, and Shafag Hamidova will try to break the resistance of Chinese Venna Juang. Leyla Aliyeva (52 kg) will face Russian representative Liliya Nugayeva at this stage.
