A special program has been launched in Guba for students studying judo coaching, based on a tripartite memorandum of understanding signed between the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF), the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, and the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
Idman.biz reports that practical judo lessons are conducted within the program under the leadership of Professor Mike Callen of the University of Hertfordshire.
In addition to well-known experts invited from various countries, local specialists who have deeply mastered judo pedagogy are also involved in the educational process.
The main goal of the initiative is to ensure that students studying judo coaching acquire knowledge and skills that meet international standards.
It should be noted that more than 60 students participate in the program.
