The opening ceremony of the "Spartak" Judo Hall was held in Baku on September 2.
İdman.biz reports that the event was attended by Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF) Elnur Mammadli, Advisor to the President of ACF Natig Bagirov, Sports Director of ACF, Deputy Secretary General Kamran Talibov, famous athletes and guests.
It was emphasized at the ceremony that the commissioning of new sports halls is of great importance in terms of promoting a healthy lifestyle and judo among adolescents and young people, and the effective organization of their leisure time.
The hall is equipped by the ACF with tatami mats that meet modern standards. The physical training zone is equipped with the necessary equipment for the development of judokas. In the area with a total area of 450 sq.m, there is a waiting area for parents, as well as coaching and changing rooms. All conditions have been created in the hall for 70 athletes to practice judo at the same time.
